Page 20, Item 548:

Thos. Helme, Chairman pro tem, writes to Congress, Aug. 3 '75 that Parson James Lyon (put under guard in Wooster's Camp August 11.) Benj. Floyd, Dr. Gilbert Smith, Joseph Denton, Richard Floyd and John Baleys, innkeeper, have from the beginning taken every method to seduce the ignorant and counteract the measures recommended for redress of grievances. They d___n all Congress and Committees, wishing they were in h___l. They have declared they will furnish the men-of-war and cutters with provisions.
