Letter from Wm H. H. Moore to Jeremiah Moore Esq. - May 24 1836

Millers place May 24 1836

Dear Father

I received A letter Wednesday which informed me that Nancy had got home from New York. I hope that she told Charles that he must write to me and if she did not then you write to him you must tell him that he must write to me. I mean to write to him as soon as I can conveniently. The Sunday School is to begin tomorrow and I have not got any testament to cary to Sunday School for they recite in the testament and I use any bible to school and I wish that you would get me A testment or else send me money to get one .... For I can procure one here and if you get one there get one as small as .... And I should like to know what thin Stockings I shall wear this summer them mistured ones is to small for me. Edmund S Mills boards here and we have A room by ourselves. I don't see as I have any thing more to write.

Your affectionately
Wm H H Moore
